A voice on the modernity of work, AI transformation, and more
A Visionary Leader in the Age of AI
Jeremy Victor is a leader, futurist, and Chief Customer Officer with a career spanning multiple industries, most notably life sciences and digital health and wellness. His leadership style is shaped by a strong belief in human potential and helping others succeed, which he sees as the key to thriving in an AI-driven world. Through his career journey, Jeremy has cultivated an approach that emphasizes the unique human traits that machines cannot replicate—intuition, gratitude, kindness, courage, and hope. These traits are central to his current work and his broader vision, particularly the creation of The More Effect, a framework that seeks to unlock human potential in the age of AI.
AI enhances our capabilities, but it’s uniquely human traits that will ensure our progress.
Unlocking Potential Through Technology and Humanity
Jeremy’s early career, which began in the mid-1990s, exposed him to the dawn of the internet and digital communication. A pivotal moment came in 1997, when an employee introduced him to instant messaging in the workplace. This was a turning point for Jeremy, as it showed him the power of technology—as additive to the human condition—to streamline work and facilitate communication across a distributed team. This realization foreshadowed much of his later work, which has always centered on the intersection of technology and human potential.
At VerticalNet, a company that grew through the dot-com era, Jeremy played a crucial role in shaping business-to-business e-commerce. His experience here not only sharpened his leadership skills but also deepened his understanding of how technology could revolutionize business operations. His time at VerticalNet also highlights his ability to identify and capitalize on emerging trends. He helped lead the shift from traditional operational methods to automated workflows for service, order management, and contract creation and management, marking the beginning of the modern digital era.
“Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.”

Career Milestones: Beyond VerticalNet to Noom
After VerticalNet, Jeremy moved into the software industry, where he took on the role of product managing a membership-based app designed to improve customer service in private country clubs. This product, which was built for Palm Pilot devices, marked one of the first mobile apps for enhancing customer experiences—well ahead of its time in mobile technology. Jeremy’s innovative thinking also extended into the gig economy, where he helped build one of the first distributed platforms for editing and writing services during his time at Thomson-Peterson. This early venture into the gig economy gave him key insights into how technology could connect individuals to new work opportunities, an idea that has continued to influence his approach to workforce innovation.
During Jeremy’s nearly 18 year tenure at Life Science Connect | VertMarkets, Inc., he demonstrated transformative leadership across multiple roles while being mentored by two serial entrepreneurs. It was this period of his career where he developed himself into a modern executive, serving as the lead operator on the Steering Committee. He credits this nearly two decades for preparing him to handle any challenge, to see the best in others, and to reflect on one’s own weaknesses to grow both personally and professionally.
Jeremy’s leadership trajectory eventually brought him to Noom, where he currently oversees coaching, service experience delivery, and operations. His strategic insights are helping Noom thrive as the industry shifts toward medically assisted weight loss, particularly through innovative projects like the rollout of 1:1 coaching and new AI applications across service and coaching. His leadership during periods of transformation showcases his ability to navigate complex organizational challenges while maintaining a focus on the end goal—empowering those around him to achieve more.
Bridging Generational Gaps with Gen Z
In addition to his corporate achievements, Jeremy has spent the last 10 years serving as a youth soccer coach. This experience has given him a unique window into the mindset and behaviors of Generation Z. Coaching young athletes through critical developmental years has provided him with firsthand knowledge of how Gen Z approaches challenges, learns, and interacts. This insight has deeply influenced his views on leadership, teamwork, and how to inspire the next generation of leaders in an ever-evolving workforce.
Coaching young minds, more than anything else, taught me how intertwined upbringing is to motivation, purpose, and drive.
By witnessing firsthand how these young individuals navigate both triumphs and setbacks on the field, Jeremy has developed a nuanced appreciation for their resilience, adaptability, and thirst for authenticity. He has observed their inclination toward purpose-driven work, the need for clear values, and their strong desire for personal and professional growth. This insight has guided his leadership approach, particularly when thinking about how to bridge the generational gap between older, more traditional leadership models and the dynamic, tech-savvy approach of Gen Z.
Adding to this, Jeremy is also the father of three Gen Z children: Kate, a student at the University of South Carolina; Connor, attending Penn State; and Sarah, a sophomore in high school. Their daily lives serve as constant reminders of how communication has shifted (“Email, Dad? Really?”), how “the WiFi sucks” (despite a 5G connection), and how the influencer economy is shaping their perceptions. This is the incoming workforce—a generation profoundly different from when Gen X was navigating the same stages of life. These transformative moments sharpen Jeremy’s ability not only to see these shifts but also to interpret and adapt to them for the betterment of all.
Lifeonomics: Balancing Work and Life in the New Normal
Through his diverse career and personal experiences, Jeremy has cultivated a unique perspective on the intersection of human potential, technology, and leadership. This perspective is central to his concept of “Lifeonomics,” a model that advocates for balancing work and life in a remote and tech-driven world. Jeremy emphasizes that in order to build high-performance teams today, leaders must not only foster innovation and productivity but also support employees’ personal well-being. Remote work has blurred the boundaries between work and family, and senior leaders must accept this new reality by creating environments where individuals can thrive both as professionals and as family members.
The More Effect: Leading with Vision, Heart, and Humanity
Beyond his work at Noom, Jeremy’s ambitions continue to grow. His personal beliefs drive him to address challenges like the gender pay gap and the underrepresentation of women in leadership positions. By developing the principles of The More Effect, he’s creating a roadmap for purpose-driven, inclusive workplaces where people can thrive.
Jeremy’s upcoming book, The More Effect: Unlocking Human Potential in the Age of AI, set to launch in 2025, promises to explore the uniquely human traits that will guide us through an AI-dominated future. Coupled with the Unlocking More newsletter and the Wellness at Work podcast, these platforms reflect his broader mission of empowering individuals, organizations, and communities to become “More” in an ever-changing world.
About Chop … a part of me you should also know.
Courage. Hope. Optimism. Pursuit of All Three.
Courage
Hope
Optimism
Pursuit
Many people know me as Chop. It’s a nickname I’ve had since infancy, and it’s rooted in a personal story that continues to shape who I am today. When I was just a baby, I underwent surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for pyloric stenosis. It was an early obstacle, but one that set the stage for the resilience I’ve needed throughout life.
As I grew older, Chop took on deeper meaning. My mother gifted me a book, The Guide to the Advanced Soul, and inscribing inside: Courage, Hope, Optimism, and the Pursuit of all Three. These values have been my north star, guiding me through personal challenges and professional growth alike. Chop isn’t just a childhood nickname. It represents perseverance, purpose, and the belief that we can overcome even the toughest hurdles with the right mindset.
Which I needed as I’m a product of diverse and challenging circumstances—growing up with a single mother after my parents’ divorce, navigating poverty, my first job at 11 (paperboy), and being raised by two incredible women: my mom and her best friend, my Aunt Joanne. Their strength, and the inclusive, loving environment they fostered, taught me to see no boundaries of gender, race, background, or status. From an early age, I learned to value diversity, inclusion, and the power of community.
And so here I am today. Ready for what comes next.
When you meet me, the choice is yours – Jeremy or Chop – I am one and the same.
Be well.
Live.
Become more.
