The Fuel of Forward — Carpool Consulting + Give the Gift of MORE | Day 11
Day 11 of the Give the Gift of MORE campaign marks a fun milestone — the debut of my new segment: Carpool Consulting.
Inspired by Carpool Karaoke, this series will bring real conversations about business, leadership, and innovation into the car. My first guest — Chris Wallace, Co-Founder and President of Interview Group — will join me next week to film the first episode. I’ve always believed one of my gifts is helping people see possibility, solve problems, and become more, and this format is a natural extension of that.
But today’s message goes deeper.
Optimism is the fuel of forward.
Early in my career, when I felt overlooked for a promotion I wasn’t yet ready for, I found a small plaque at a mall kiosk.
It read:
“Every obstacle is a stepping stone to your success.”
That single line stayed with me for decades — and it reflects the spirit of the MORE Effect:
Courage. Hope. Optimism. The pursuit of all three.
Life will always present setbacks. What matters is how we respond — and whether we choose to examine those moments, learn from them, and move forward stronger.
